We're fishermen who built something we'd want to use ourselves. Every decision — from where we place the Ice House or Ice Shack to what gear we stock — comes from years of experience on this land.
Robert Snedeker
Owner
Second-generation Northern Michigan native. Robert has been hunting and fishing this property since childhood and knows every inch of it. He is a dedicated outdoorsman with a lifelong passion for fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling and more. His experience in the field, combined with a deep respect for the natural environment, reflects a commitment to outdoor recreation and stewardship.
Joan Snedeker
Operations & Ice House Manager
Joan who keeps everything running, handles setup, maintenance, and makes sure every rental is ready before you arrive. She oversees setup, manages maintenance, and ensures every rental is fully prepared before you arrive. In the summer, she enjoys gardening, and during the harvest season you might even catch her canning the fruits of her work.
